PREFACE: Opting for dialogue
A lot is about to happen over the next few years. The socio-economic challenges and current (geo)political situation could have a drastic impact on your job. In the lead-up to the social elections, we want to explicitly highlight the relevance of executives for a sustainable and constructive, yet also decisive social dialogue.
The changing reality also affects executives. The social dialogue will zoom in even more on issues related to your work: training and development, mobility, work-life balance, career planning, wage transparency, competition, positive leadership, internationalisation, etc. These issues not only significantly affect your world, but also your living environment.
At the same, from your position, you can offer guidance and protect employees who are affected by economic changes. You can contribute to fair wages and employment conditions, or guide employees through climate and environment-related revolutions in a fair way. You can help build a fair perspective. Tom’s, Thirza’s and many other people’s stories show the commitment of executive representatives to addressing issues and challenges.
ACV and CSC are convinced of the importance of the group of knowledge workers, executives and managers. This translates into the investment in an educated executive network, supported by expert partners strengthening the representatives of executives. Supported by training, working resources and tools, executives can rely on an executive network strengthening the relationship between staff representatives and members.
Involvement, cooperation, a constructive approach and a determined focus on results make up the DNA of a network of fresh faces and energetic employees giving the best of themselves for their colleagues. This way, ACV-CSC transforms the employee organisation into a contemporary and pertinent reality pushing the future in a positive direction.
The social elections taking place between 13 and 26 May are an investment in your future. Vote for 2. And encourage your colleagues to exercise their democratic right by voting for ACV-CSC candidates. Our candidates, supported by the ACV-CSC network, are a guarantee for social justice and job security.
