PREFACE: Dear reader,

It has been almost two months since the social elections, and in many companies and institutions, a new team of staff representatives (for executives as well) is getting started. We wish them the best of luck. And we are sure you can count on them to work on improvement together.

Almost simultaneously with this staff renewal of the social dialogue, ACV Kader’s communication mix is also getting a relaunch. This current edition of Never Work Alone is the end of a strong chapter of communication. With renewed vigour, we continue working on providing information tailored to your needs via other channels. For decades, the editors worked with staff representatives and employees to present you four printed magazines every year. Today, we say goodbye to this routine as we have made the informed decision to reach and support you through an updated communication approach.

If 50% of today’s jobs are highly qualified positions, then we, along with staff representatives in companies and institutions, are even more challenged to listen to this specific employee profile and address their issues. Our key motivator is developing a member service that is closely related to the needs and expectations and creating a result-oriented social dialogue as an answer to common concerns.

The growing demand for digital communication, as well as online interaction and contacts inside and outside the company is reinforced by the specific work context where on-site working is replaced by hybrid and remote working. Staff representatives in companies and institutions are also increasingly working digitally to better support their colleagues.

In recent years, we have a built a strong LinkedIn platform with Never Work Alone, where we now offer over 1,200 followers a strong knowledge network focusing on socio-legal information, social reflection as well as tips and tricks for more job satisfaction.

The NWA team, consisting of Vic, Nouch, Jan, Ingrid and Sandra, continues its commitment to you. The door to Never Work Alone remains open via neverworkalone@acv-csc.be and www.neverworkalone.be. They remain a constant in a challenging communication reality.

Taking into account this changed reality, we will further elaborate our communication mix in a determined way.  We will strengthen our connections with you using a variety of channels, such as videos, podcasts, short informative pieces and in-depth articles. It’s a diverse mix of media, but always tailored to you. Our future is assured.
